02/01/2007 - Website: Corporate Rebrand
Home page – Hand Coded in HTML and CSS
New Corporate Website
A new corporate website for R.V. Nuccio & Associates launched in 2007 with over forty pages. This launch included a new professional company website to showcase R.V. Nuccio’s insurance expertise. This project also included designing and coding HTML forms to submit and connect with a third party insurance policy generating software.
The two principals at Specto Design, handled all aspects of the website design and development including copywriting, user experience design, web development and more. Back in 2007 websites were hand coded in HTML and required extensive cross browser, cross platform testing and tweaking for compatibility issues. No smart phones until June of 2007 ;)
Search Engine Friendly Website Development
This website launch skyrocketed RVNA well above their insurance competitors. Google, Yahoo and Microsoft were the big search engines and RVNA was on the first page of all of them for their top programs including DJ Insurance, Event Insurance, Nonprofit Insurance and more.
Landing pages for Individual Programs
Information at a Glance with More User Friendly Helpful Content
Specto Design developed sections for each Insurance program so customers could easily find the information they needed. Landing pages gave them an overview of the insurance and provided instant access to get a quote. If a customer needed more information they had it at their disposal without needing to call RVNA. Specto Design expanded beyond the basic non user-friendly coverage summaries and sample policies to more user-friendly content on the landing pages and Insurance 101 pages.
Fielding Customers to the Correct Applications
B2C and B2B
RVNA had two types of customers. They sold policies directly to the public and also allowed brokers to resell their exclusive policies. We created user-friendly screens to quickly direct customers to the correct online form. RVNA was the only insurance broker in all fifty states offering the ability to quote and buy their policy entirely online. The more we could automate the application process the less confusion for the customers. Automation allowed RVNA to complete sales at any hour.
