To
further the identity and brand of the company, we created
a film-style strip on the homepage blending several
images and memorabilia to give the visitor a feel of
the type of product the company creates. We added "lifequotes"
provided by the company to each page.
The company wanted to instill a feeling of movement on the website but did not want to use Flash. To instill movement, we created a dynamic popup navigation, added dynamic scrollers for content, and made the "lifequotes" random . Each time a page is reloaded a new quote appears. A user can also click on the current quote and a new one will replace it.
A significant portion of the company's success is due to word-of-mouth so we added a "tell a friend" section to the site easily enabling visitors instantly to email their friends, co-workers, and/or family members a message and link to the company.
In the final phase of the project, the company decided to use the script font, we selected for the website navigation, in their logo. We developed the new logo, replacing the existing font while keeping the yellow strip per company's request.<
