I am especially grateful for your wonderful ability to stay on target per our desire to bring to life a site which supports and highlights real people doing real work to benefit the health of humankind. I had the happy occasion to use it in the cultivation of a donor within hours of its public launch.
LIAI Case Study
Objective: When the La Jolla Institute came to Specto Design they were in strong need of an externally-focused, well organized web presence that highlighted their world-renowned faculty and research.
Approach: We focused on the PI's and disease areas and the relevance of the institutes research to bring more clarity to their impact on biomedical research. We re-organized the content into sections for diseases and provided templates for all PI's with individual quotes and photos to personalize the labs and their research. We incorporated their own laboratory cell slides to create everything from headers to buttons and really brought the message to the forefront that LIAI was a world leader in immunology research.
Result: We developed the new tag line "Finding Cures Faster" to signify the strong collaborative, fast-pasted environment of shared laboraties which is unique in the competitive medical research world. The new web site and tag line is a testament to their innovative, cutting-edge research.

We incorporated LIAI's single branded element "immuno man" into their web site along with the new tag line "Finding Cures Faster". Adding to this facts specific to immunology research. We carried the facts through all pages of the web site and organized all of their research by diseases and research areas. In each research area we focused first on breakthroughs and then provided more information on each disease area and laboratory.
